An M.I.T. alumnus (B.S. Physics, 1970), Mark Pawlak is the author of nine poetry collections and the editor of six anthologies. His latest books are Reconnaissance (Hanging Loose, 2016) and Natural Histories (Cervena Barva, 2015). His work has been translated into German, Japanese, Polish, and Spanish, and has been performed at Teatr Polski in Warsaw. In English, his poems have appeared widely in anthologies and journals such as The Best American Poetry, New American Writing and Solstice. He lives in Cambridge and teaches mathematics at the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
