Stephen Tapscott lives in Cambridge and is a professor (Literature) at MIT. Has published four books of poems and a translation of the love sonnets of Pablo Neruda. He’s now working on a translation of love poems by the Brazilian poet Carlos Drummond de Andrade, written when Drummond was in his 80s.
Erica Funkhouser’s newest book of poems, Post and Rail, was the recipient of the 2017 Idaho Prize and is due out in print this April. Her poem on Annie Oakley, “Sure Shot,” was adapted for the stage and produced by the Helicon Theatre Co. in Los Angeles. Another poem on Sacagawea led to her involvement with Ken Burns’s PBS documentary on the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
