“Translation” in Transmediation: Exploring the Metaphor

Transferring narratives from one medium to another is often either likened to the process of translation or just plainly called translation, the latter being used as a synonym to “transmediation”. During this two-hour class with Ksenia Prassolova, we will concentrate on further exploring this metaphor; by looking at the key translation techniques we will try to understand how to better tell our stories across media.
